KDPW to issue LEI services in Armenia
10 June 2025 Armenia

KDPW, a Polish central securities depository, has obtained an accreditation authorising its issuance of legal entity identifiers (LEIs) to legal entities in Armenia.
The company will work with the Central Depository of Armenia (CDA) to establish a local LEI issuance service.
Through this initiative, the two entities will aim to improve the availability of LEIs and support the development of transparency in the financial market in the region.
The extension of the accreditation is part of the LEI service development strategy aimed at seeking new opportunities for growth.
These include increasing the geographical coverage, developing distribution channels and, consequently, increasing the number of issued and renewed LEIs.
According to KDPW, it is an important element in strengthening the competitiveness of the LEI service and entering new foreign markets.
