BNY hires Mehra as Head of APAC Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Financing and Global Collateral

BNY has onboarded Nehal Mehra as head of Asia Pacific securities financing and global collateral.

Based in Hong Kong, Mehra brings more than a decade of experience in the financial services sector to his new role.

He joins from Goldman Sachs, where he has served as a managing director for the past five years, following a five-year tenure as a vice president.

He holds a master-of-science degree in finance and economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).

Upon starting his new role, Mehra says: “I look forward to further enhancing our solutions and helping clients navigate the complexities of the region.

“It’s an exciting opportunity to contribute to BNY’s strategic growth and to be a part of a dynamic team committed to delivering excellence.â€

Nelius De Groot, head of international markets, comments: “Nehal’s expertise in the region and strategic insights will be instrumental in strengthening our position in Asia Pacific.â€
